A safe place to share your toddler's cute, funny (and sometimes just plain disconcerting!) little behaviours, actions and words without being accused of PFBism. Can be anything, just as long it might raise a smile of recognition from someone, somewhere.

DS: "Duck"
Me: "No, it's a seagull."
DS: "Duck"
Me: "Seagull"
DS: "Duuucccckk!!!"
Me: "Seeeeaaaaguuuullll!!!"
DS: "DUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK!!!"
Me: "Ok, it's a duck."
DS: "No, seagull!"

DD (23 mths), falling off her toy car:

Me: what are you doing?
DD: I'm falling mummy.

She said it in such a sarcastic voice, like "isn't it obvious", that we had to laugh.

In an almost empty cafe, 2 yo dd engrossed in a huge ice cream sundae. A cute elderly couple wander over to say "are you enjoying that?" dd looks round slowly at them, then in a horrified stage whisper, says

"Mummy, there's a grandma behind me, and it's LOOKING AT ME!"

DH hoovers the living room whilst DS watches.

Hoover stops.

DS: Ooh, well done Daddy. Have a sticker (peels sticker given by nursery off his top and sticks it onto daddy's top instead).

Smile

:) DS gave me a sticker for going for a wee once when he was potty training. Just like your DS - I got his sticker and a big well DONE, mummy. We were in the public toilets at the park, it was a bit embarrassing.

DGS- 15 months, very busy and active but usually completely unintelligible.

Runs across room theatrically clutching both bum cheeks shouting a very camp 'oooooh'

DH to DSS: Has he done a doodoo?!

DGS hides by door uttering 'doodoo' as clear as a bell.

He had.
