Hi, I'm a newbie smile Mummy to three gorgeous girls!

My 'baby' girl has just started nursery - she has learning difficulties so has been heavily dependant on me for the last year. Starting nursery has gone so much better than I could have ever hoped for, she has settled quickly and I don't need to stay with her. I am not broody, but I am really feeling empty! Nursery is only mornings, so in reality I should be filling my time with a million things that need doing, but I am really, really missing the children.

Does this ever get better?! How do I cope with my own separation anxieties?

Thanks smile

It's OK to miss them - that's your job. smile But you've already said that you should be filling your time and that's certainly the right approach. If for no other reason that, when they all get home again at the end of their full days, they come back to a happy mum rather than one that's been ticking off the hours.
