as if she got summat that i didnt want her to have eg a metal spoon and she is walking around the room with it in her mouth.. ive tried to give her summat else and take the spoon off her.. but her tantrum!! - she throws herself on the floor, going around in circles banging the back of her head on the carpet (wooden floor), then gets up and start lashing out like grabbing things off the couch and flung them on the floor, and im trying to give her summat else but shes not interested till she calmed down!!

i just leave her to calm down and then i talk to her

is this a normal tantrum?

It's amazing, isn't it, the way they can put every ounce of energy into it? They are so completely consumed by their feelings - awesome.
