Wii games for 10 year old, what and hopw much!?

I have a lovely, bright intelligent boy who wants a Wii game called Goldeneye, it's a James Bond one. Loads of his friends have it and others, so I know he plays them elsewhere already. He really wants this game but it's rated a 16. I want to know if anyone has any experience of this game on younger children and whether it would be irresponsible of me to let him have it?

How much restriction is healthy, I'm not sure what to do..

Sorry I don't know this game but I have similar issues with my 10 yr old DS. He has a couple of firnds who have Call of Duty (18) and he wants to know when he can have it! I don't mind 12s as DVDs or games but I won't let him watch 15s yet.
