Hi
I'm not sure this is the right place to post but just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to keep children amused at our DD's christening? As she is our first I'm not so clued up on what keeps the older ones entertained, we have 4 2yr olds, 4 4yr olds, 6yrs, 7,9,11 & 12yr old coming... Any ideas gratefully received! (I am praying for good weather so that we can be outside and avoid carnage in granny and gramps house)

We had christening tea in the local church hall and I took all our cars, trains etc for the younger kids to play with. The older ones I left to entertain themselves, or for their parents to sort out! A large assortment of cake helped too.
Hope you have a fab time.

Our DD was Christened at the weekend and I had much the same mix, at our house so I was keen to keep them out of mischief too!

I bought a big family pack of bubbles and wands (£4 from tesco) - there's about 20 different wands in there. That was a huge hit. And hunt the teddy - an adult hides a small teddy and they all have to look for it.

I had a couple of 12 year olds too which were fab at keeping the young one's entertained without me doing much at all.
have fun!
