Aaargh, why is DD always the grubbiest!!

Does your child seem to look like they've been dragged through a bush 5 mins after leaving the house? My DD seems to attract dirt, ink, hair everywhere, coat hanging off shoulder etc whilst her pals seem to be able to have fun, run about and still look fairly presentable. If we have to go anywhere straight from after school club it's a nightmare as she looks like she's not had a wash for days and has Worzel Gummidge's hairdresser. Is this a common trait amongst 6/7 year olds?

My DD is exactly the same. Like Jesieb, I think it's indicative of all the fun they are having.
I still can't put anything white on my 9.10 DD

I will never understand why girls' clothes are so often white or pink. The number of sweet pale pink whatsits I had to throw away after my toddler indelibly stained them broke my heart.

Camouflage pants and brown tops clearly the way to go.

My one year old is the same. When I picked her up from nursery yesterday she had been changed twice. They had a St Paddy's party and she had sat in a tray of green water then put her face (!) into a plate of green paint.

I have a DS. He still has a bath a night to scrub off the day's experiences. He's 16.
He takes after me.

2 of my children are playing outside.

in the garden. I shall be hosing them down before I let them in the house.

they leave the house clean & tidy, they never stay that way.

dd3 is 5. she started school in sept. i have thrown 3 pairs of trousers as she has holes in them.

I remember a boy in my class asking me why my hair was always so messy ! I was around 8 I think.

My hair was fine but I had alot of it. I think that makes for messy hair!
