We've had our 9 week old DD in with us for the past 2 weeks (with the odd night in her moses which was fine) she still settles on her own but its been freezing in our house lately (stupid council still haven't given us double glazing) (and we;re living in my dads living room so DD doesnt have her own room yet)
How do you feel about letting baby sleep in with you?
there are all these speculations about how "you're building a rod for your own back" (or how ever the saying goes) but then you get someone who says (which makes sense) all babies want is to feel comforted, they don't know how to manipulate you and be nasty all for wanting to feel safe...
DD is happy in her own bed, and she also come in with us as i said above...
I do hope that when she does go into her own room, she'll be able to settle... i dont really settle her in my arms, she rarely falls asleep on the breast, she prefers to nod off laying on the bed to be honest...
but
im not quite sure what my point is now.. lol
Do you co-sleep/have baby in with you, and do you have any problems, or what are your views on this? "the food of love book" has some sound advice about it, and makes a lot of sense in respect to babies only being human and wanting to feel secure (being held/skin-to-skin/feeding etc)
