Fucking ds2. I am sat here in tears and shaking with frustration.
He is only 6 mths old.

It has been shit from the start - reflux.

I get fuck all sleep.

I don;t think he has reflux anymore tbh.4

I sleep with him in my arms becasue it is the onkly way to get sleep at all.

I cant get him to natoday.

I am so fucking frustrated with him.

I am neglecting ds, who is a nightmare too. He is 4 and an obnoxious little shit at times.

My liofe is fucked.,

I hate being their Mum.

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:17:41

Dh and my Mum are basicallt raising ds1. btw.

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:18:36

I feel utterly trapped.
I haven't slept in 6 mths.
My ils are coming soon too and they are fuckiong bastard cunt arsewipe fuckers.

CarGirl Mon 15-Nov-10 13:18:44

Have you tried putting him in a back pack?

winnybella Mon 15-Nov-10 13:19:15

Sympathies, it's really tough, isn't it.

DS1 will be a nightmare as it's his right ar 4 plus he's probably still unsettles by ds2's arrival.

Are you bf? Have you got a dp to take care of ds 2 at night?

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:19:18

Yes
I try everything
I am so fucking tireed

CarGirl Mon 15-Nov-10 13:19:30

eek, where is your dh now?

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:20:04

I am bfing yes.

Dh no good at night. Not worth the aggrevation of geting him up

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:20:29

Dh at ework

My mum downstaris with ds1

meltedmarsbars Mon 15-Nov-10 13:20:58

sad Poor you!

It will get better, you know that, don't you? At 6 months you can still blame it on the Hormones. We are not all domestic goddesses. Raising babies can be hard work.

winnybella Mon 15-Nov-10 13:20:58

x-post. Ok, that's good that you've got dh and mum to help. Why don't you concentrate on ds2 and then few times a week leave him with dh or mum so you can take ds2 to the park, cinema or just play a board game or whatever- just to spend some time with him?

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:21:09

I feel like sucha failure.
I cannpt look after my kids.

winnybella Mon 15-Nov-10 13:21:52

Ok, if you're bf and co-sleeping- won't he just sleep next to you and latch on and off?

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:21:53

I should be able to care for 2 kids.

Most people manage.

I can't.

Tw1nkle Mon 15-Nov-10 13:22:08

You probably have, but have you tried 'controlled crying' and calpol?

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:22:30

Latching on and off, yes, that is fine, but it is the crying like he is on fire that keeps me up all night,

HuwEdwards Mon 15-Nov-10 13:22:30

You can do it and you will smile
But, get yourself to the docs for help, before pnd sets in (if it hasn't already). You can't do all this without some more help.

CarGirl Mon 15-Nov-10 13:22:39

My dc3 had silent reflux, I went back to work to have a break from her blush.

Things that really helped was putting her onto bottles as it got the gaviscon into her a million times easier. Dh dealing with her in the evenings whilst I dealt with the other 2.

About a year old she started napping during the day.

Sorry not much help.

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:23:16

Calpol yes.

Controlled crying - no way. Not for me. I was left to crya nd it totally fucked me up, but that;s another thread.

The3Bears Mon 15-Nov-10 13:23:40

It does get better I had days with ds where I just felt trapped and he was a genrally good baby.
I found just going out for a big walk with ds in his pram everyday really helped, I know it seems like more work and you cant really be bothered to go out but when you do ds2 will sleep better and you should feel abit more normal hth

winnybella Mon 15-Nov-10 13:23:42

Nah, don't feel like a failure. When DD was born and she bf every 2 hrs for first 6 months of her life and I didn't get much sleep, I was feeling really down most of the time. DS didn't really get to spend much time with me, tbh.

Now she's 21 mo, we can all spend time together, they adore each other, it's sooo much easier.

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:24:01

pnd SETR in a whole back.

GP useless fucker/

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:25:07

I can't stop crying.

Ds1 ia awful.

I donn't even like him much atm. He is a little bugger. I do love him though.

PussinJimmyChoos Mon 15-Nov-10 13:25:35

Do the doctors have any idea what is causing his pain? I'm assuming you have tried the whole cutting out dairy, wheat etc thing?

I am just wondering if its worth pushing for more investigations?

You are not a shit mum. 6 mths of hardly any sleep is torture...DS had reflux and it was awful

nickypomtimes Mon 15-Nov-10 13:26:01

have to go for a minute.

thanks for talking.

be back ina minute.

please keep talking to me. it does help.
