we will need to get some basics, milk, snacks, drinks, fruit etc, is the supermarket within center parks ok priced or extortionate?

Approx same prices as Sainsburys or the basics like milk and bread. Can get more expensive for other things like cooked meats, ready meals. Good selection though, we went everyday to buy something when we were in Whinfell.

We usually get an ocado order delivered just before we're due to leave and put it straight in the car. I've never been too impressed with the price or the selection in the parc markets.

If you're going to the Lake District one there's a Morrissons in the nearby town, but it closes at 8pm. Came as a bit of a shock to us as all our nearby ones are 24hr.

Have fun - Make sure you get yourself into the Spa, its lovely.

we go to Elvedon every year.

There is a Sainsbos about 10 min drive but to be honest the Parc Market isn't that expensive comparatively.

The only thing I have noticed they dont sell is whole chickens and chicken peices (except breast which is pricey anyway)

We buy from the Parc Market.

Their reductions is better than any supermarket.
