I wore a size 20 wedding dress (was probably more like a size 16 in real life) but I looked pretty good. Had been going to the gym a lot and had been healthy eating but nothing drastic. A few pics here if you're interested.

So not important at all IMO!

I got married 2 and half months after having dd so I still had a bumpy belly. If I sucked it in you couldn't see it but really, how long can you do that for?

So I slipped my dress on and my Nan comes to have a look. Instead of saying "oh you look beautiful, nice, ok, that'll do" she said " oh god look at your belly, you can't go out like that. You can wear my support pants"

So instead of wearing my sexy matching bra/pants, I wore my Nans (new) support pants!

I don't know if that helps but it normally makes people chuckle when I tell them.

was a size 12-14 when i got married, but def not now. am starting lighter life when i come back from holiday as have a lot to lose at the moment.

dh told me the other day that i didn't need to lose the weight for him, promptly told him not losing it for him losing it for myself!

don't really think that it is that important, infact at my lighterlife intro meeting a woamn was starting it that had got married on the saturday before, so she obviously didn't feel that it was that important.

i think if you are happy and pleased to be getting married it doesn't matter if you are a size 8 or 28 walking down that aisle!
