Cloth nappies - Very simple advice needed - I'm confused!!

Hi, I posted a couple of days ago on Health about wanting to try cloth nappies and people were very helpful in giving me advice about what brands to use.
Well, I've searched the sites and I'm now completely confused! Please could someone give me the idiots guide to what I need to buy. Ideally I'd like a trial pack as I'm not sure if Dd's skin will take to them but the only trial packs I have found have only gone up to a medium in size and I reckon Dd is at least 24lb and growing fast!
Web addresses would be super as I'm very dim when it comes to computers and searching!!!
Thanks mnetters

have a look at twinkleontheweb.co.uk as well - very good descriptions - and can ring for advice too.

You need a liner : fleece or paper (fleece make the nappy feel very dry to baby)
a nappy
a wrap unless you buy a "all in one" like a motherease. Those are more expensive.

On Mumsnet Tots Bots come up trumps, they are excellent.

www.earthlets.co.uk if you want to use motherease - they are one size all the way up to potty trained (except for the wraps - they are various weight sizes) so size won't be an issue.

It would be worth trialing a few nappies before you commit to one particular one. The addresses mentioned here are good, teamlollipop do face to face advice or fill out the survey on nappylady.

kittykins also have an advice section and offer a large trial pack- go to the 'kit' part.
