I am so angry and a little concerned. I was in the newsagents today with my 3 year old ds when some woman told me i should "grow up and act like a mother!". She was objecting to my ds singing along to Good Charlotte on my phone(i have one of those loverly 3G ones that has an mp3 player on it) and the way i was dressed.( anti-fit jeans, white vest top, black converse baseball boots and a black Good Charlotte fleece tied around my waist) She told me that punk-rock was not good for my son(why? Good Charlotte do not swear, dont sing about violence and make some great bouncing tunes!) and that i should dress like a responsible mother. Why should the way i dress and what music i like make any impact on how i raise my son? I told the woman that it was none of her business how i live my life and she really should not judge people she doesnt know. But she made me so angry

OK rant over

Daft numpty woman! How old are you sm? Not that it makes a lot of difference tbh. Don't think you should hit 30 and suddenly only wear twinset and pearls and listen to Mozart!

OMG! Well I'm 29, wear similar clothes and also like Good Charlotte. Don't see why she was offended at all, as I say...numptywoman!!!!

Good Charlotte are an american pop-punk band similar to Green Day, Blink 182, Offspring etc (although you may not know who these are!!) Charlie from Busted's new band Fightstarr are trying to be like that sound!! more rocky, guitary(is that a word?)

God, I almost hate to admit it but I honestly would have told her to F*ck off. Really, I would have.

I like to think I would have put my hands over Ds's ears while I said it but my mouth would have mover much faster than my hands.

I'm sure that would have gone down well with the interferring old witch.

OOOh I LOVE Good Charlotte!

Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous! Fab song!

Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous
thanks to Tiff for submitting the lyrics

Always see it on T.V.or read it in the magazines
Celebrities want sympathy
All they do is piss and moan inside the Rolling Stone
Talking about how hard life can be

I'd like to see them spend the week livin' life out on the street
I don't think they would survive
If they could spend a day or two walking in someone else's shoes
I think they'd stumble and they'd fall
They would fall (fall)

Lifestyles of the rich and the famous
They're always complaining, always complaining
If money is such a problem
Well they got mansions
Think we should rob them

Did you know when you were famous
You could kill your wife and there's no such thing as
25 to life as long as you've got the cash to pay for Cochran
And did you know if you were caught and you were smoking crack
McDonald's wouldn't even want to take you back
You could always just run for mayor of D.C.

I'd like to see them spend the week livin' life out on the street
I don't think they would survive
If they could spend a day or two walking in someone else's shoes
I think they'd stumble and they'd fall
They would fall (fall)

Lifestyles of the rich and the famous
They're always complaining, always complaining
If money is such a problem
Well they got mansions
Think we should rob them

Lifestyles of the rich and the famous
They're always complaining, always complaining
If money is such a problem
You got so many problems
Think I could solve them
Lifestyles of the rich and famous
We'll take your clothes, cash cards, and homes just stop complaining
Lifestyles of the rich and famous
Lifestyles of the rich and famous
Lifestyles of the rich and famous
