Well after a few weeks of nothing, me and my sister went to tesco, when we got back they were all outside and threw waterbombs at us, making strange noises, comments and when DH opened the door they said 'get back inside you pussy' remind me why I am putting u0p with this............

Your lovely, lovely new house.

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 17:53:27

but its so long away....... I don't know if I can deal with this for a another 3-5 months

assumedname Thu 21-Jul-05 17:54:16

Are these adults throwing waterbombs? We've had a spate of kids throwing them round here.

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 17:54:51

yes Adults (if you can call them that)

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 18:08:20

they are pathetic, I know that, but its horrible being shouted as you are going into your house

assumedname Thu 21-Jul-05 18:15:50

Horrible situation.

SoupDragon Thu 21-Jul-05 18:17:55

Just smile serenely at them and think of your new house

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 18:20:56

I don't even look at them, I just ignore them, is that the right thing to do???

SoupDragon Thu 21-Jul-05 18:23:53

Yeah, I think so.

Tempting as it would be to smile serenely, wave and say "good morning! Isn't it a lovely day." in a cheerful voce, it's better to ignore them.

SoupDragon Thu 21-Jul-05 18:24:29

Try not to scurry or look as if it's bothered you though. Easier said than done.

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 18:29:02

was thinking about asking the council if I can get 6 ft panels put up in the front, but I don' t think I'll be allowed

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 18:31:38

I just walk in normally, I don't let them see me scared, I know what they are trying to do, they see that DH is scared to go out and they are trying to scare me into not going out too........ Pathetic twats!!!!!

SoupDragon Thu 21-Jul-05 18:32:05

Personally I think it would spur them on to other things. like kicking in fence panels.

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 18:34:23

Thats what i thought, I hate these open plan front gardens, you feel like they are watching you all the time.........

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 22:57:43

I don't wanna be here anymore

misdee Thu 21-Jul-05 23:01:44

how sad!!

keep focusing on that house.

spacecadet Thu 21-Jul-05 23:08:19

immature wasters..soopdragon is right though, ignore them, keep focusing on that lovely new house.
i know its hard.

champs Thu 21-Jul-05 23:22:31

grrrr!! just think, you'll be gone soon. when they stary just think of all the things you want to do in new house. How you're going to decorate etc.

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 23:28:05

I just want to go up to them and said 'you do realise that what you are doing is breaking about 7 rules of your parent's tenant agreement' but that will make it worse

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 23:29:46

did think about taking the page out of the tenants handbook and underlining all the rules they are breaking and posting it through the door

champs Thu 21-Jul-05 23:30:02

dont talk to them! hard as it is. I would want to give them a right talking to but thaey just want a rise out of you.

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 23:31:33

But ignoring doesn't seem to be working,. they still are giving us grief.........

sparklymieow Thu 21-Jul-05 23:32:54

champs look here

Nbg Thu 21-Jul-05 23:36:34

If it happens again just maintain eye contact with whoever you are with keep talking to them and laugh if you can.
Totally ignore their presence. They'll expect you to look at them.
