Hi all. Just posted an update on my old thread here .

We're all doing well. Hoping for a discharge from hospital tomorrow or the day after. More info in the original thread.

Love to you all, and thanks for LOADS of well wishes. You really have all been very kind and the posts really helped Dee and I along in the last few days.

Again happy hugs and baby fluffies

Just to let you all know I've got my girls back home !

The baby room is full of 'bits', Dee is unpacking her bag and all the gifts of nappies / teats / bottles etc. from the hospital !

Apparently all the nurses were popping into Dee's room all morning to have a peak at the cutey pie, and everyone went mad on the way out to the car cos she is soooo pretty, LOL !

Will catch up with everyone in a few days, and update the photos too. Right now, I am just going to stare at my babba.

If anyone missed the piccies in the long thread, they're here , and I'll update them during the next week.

Thanks again for all the well wishes.

Great news. Staring at the baby is good, if a little obsessive

Look after your two lovely ladies.

Yep, here marketh the beginning of obsession. Thanks again for your pressie, WWB - I'll show it to Dee as soon as she feels the changing table 'battle station' area is under control !

Yep, first moments as a family... that's weird, Lou33, eh !

OK. Must go stare.

Dozing on shoulder -Aaaah - I remember that.

Have you danced with her cuddled up on your shoulder yet? Makes all your old CDs sound fab again!

Glad you're enjoying her & love to Dee

She's soooooo lovely and warm. I think many slightly prem / small babies are also often dozy / sleepy / very restful IYSWIM too.

She is so good (at the moment, LOL).

Long may it continue !

I remember visiting a friend with a new baby, when I was getting a bit broody anyway, and sitting with her little warm bear on my shoulder beaming soppily...had a bear of my own 12 months later

ahh well done hub, you make sure that you all rest up though, the changing station will soon become a bombsite anyway after a few nappy changes as long as you wipeup as you go it'll be fine.
you got it all beeswaxed then!

make the most of it and keep up the good work, a fathers love for his daughter never stops, my dad still worries about me 29 years later! and for the record imo a fathers love/bond is the best thing in the world!

hub2dee · 12/07/2005 22:14

vickiyumyum... well, we nearly got it done... my friend Ricky Danish-oiled the changing station but the wood then looked much to new and shiny, so my dad sanded it all back to wood and we're going to beeswax (without Danish oil) tomorrow !

So glad I am spreading broody vibes, LOL.

hub2dee's patented baby dust, eh....

Photos coming.... maybe after I SLEEP !

Night.
