i am part way through redecorating dd1+2 bedroom. the woodwork neweds freshening up but dont want o use gloss because of the fumes. so what choices do i have? as low an odour as possible.

Or B&Q do a gloss which isn't a shiny finish - will see if I can find it on their site. It doesn't smell at all and stays white.

Satinwood too.

Nope, can't find it - they don't deliver paint.

Think it's called Everwhite. It comes in quite small pots.

You can use satinwood, misdee; also Dulux used to do a water-based one which was fume-free but when I used it (about 6 years ago) I found it was inclined to go lumpy and I don't know if they do it any more.

(Satinwood is a hard finish but not shiny.)

Dulux quick-dry gloss - water-based - dunno if this is the one though. If it is it's probably better now.
