Help! Fake tan on light carpet!

Ive got two orange patches. thought it would fade but it hasnt.

How stupid am i????

Can't you try the fake tan remover wipes? They are on sale in Boots, Superdrug, etc. Do a small bit first just in case it makes it worse.
