There seem to be a lot of hoax threads here, why don't the hoaxers go out and get themselves a life?

horseshoe Fri 01-Jul-05 16:39:06

What do you mean cook???

I must have missed it!

Caligula Fri 01-Jul-05 16:39:14

tarantula Fri 01-Jul-05 16:39:24

SoupDragon Fri 01-Jul-05 16:40:47

How would you know the threads are hoax ones since you've only posted today?

Changeling? New Poster?

horseshoe Fri 01-Jul-05 16:41:44

Do you mean like

"Help my tampax is stuck up my nose" type threads??

cook Fri 01-Jul-05 16:42:40

Purleese, if you were pathetic enough to take your little boy out in girl's clothes or leave your child unattended then you wouldn't broadcast the fact would you?

SoupDragon Fri 01-Jul-05 16:43:23

Come on , who are you? New poster, changeling or troll?

tarantula Fri 01-Jul-05 16:45:04

Why not Cook? If you do it in public then letting a few more people know aint gonna make a difference is it? Esp as they dont know who you are

Caligula Fri 01-Jul-05 16:45:36

What about brazilian waxes? Would you broadcast that?

GhostofNatt Fri 01-Jul-05 16:45:48

Am hoping the hs and ps who shave their bits is not a hoax - has made the world seem much more stange and various than I had imagined

Caligula Fri 01-Jul-05 16:47:44

pmsl GoN

Esque Fri 01-Jul-05 16:49:37

You mean like "Men who shave twice a week and wear torn jeans - yes or no"? I find them hilarious and they make my day much more fun.

cook Fri 01-Jul-05 16:50:42

What confuses me is why you would want to converse with people who you think do this kind of thing. Imo the fact that this is a nickname site rather than a name site means that people are far more likely to lie.......and just to prove my point, they do.

horseshoe Fri 01-Jul-05 16:51:12

Where I come from their called Tramps

QueenOfQuotes Fri 01-Jul-05 16:51:18

How do you know people are lying???

Caligula Fri 01-Jul-05 16:51:28

horseshoe Fri 01-Jul-05 16:51:42

Well are you really a cook????

flashingnose Fri 01-Jul-05 16:52:48

Oh cook, welcome to Mumsnet! I can tell you're going to cause a lot of merriment

horseshoe Fri 01-Jul-05 16:53:06

People can use their real names if they like...

no-one is stopping them....

Except nicknames are catchier and can not be doubled up to confuse

HappyHuggy Fri 01-Jul-05 16:53:19

lol get a life cook

tarantula Fri 01-Jul-05 16:53:25

Im really a spider tho and have posted my picture to prove it . Take a look at my profile if you dont belive me

SoupDragon Fri 01-Jul-05 16:53:37

All sites are "nickname" sites. You can never know if someone has given a genuine name or not. It doesn't make someone more or less likely to lie at all - I think you are naive to think that if someone has a nickname of "JaneRoberts" it makes them genuine.

HappyHuggy Fri 01-Jul-05 16:54:22

and soupy really is a big scary dragon so watch out lol

horseshoe Fri 01-Jul-05 16:54:37
