i know i know i could make my own...raisins in old avent bottles with lids on...box and a wooden spoon for a drum etc but i was thinking more along the lines of a xylophone or some of those shaky things with little bells on...whatever they're called! anyone know where to buy anything like that? nothing outrageously priced please! thankyou my dears!

You can get the shaky things with bells on from ELC for a couple of pounds, they say 3 years +, but my dd had one from the time she was about 18 months old and loved it.

You can get wrist ones there too for the same sort of price.

mark my words they'd far rather have a couple of upturned pans and a wooden spoon
