every evening at dusk time 2 tiny little dark coloured birds dart around and around and around my back garden, like they are chasing each other. ive never seen birds fly so fast!

How small is tiny? Swifts do this in the evenings, they're very dark coloured and almost skim the ground sometimes.

is it possible they could in fact be bats?

bossykate Thu 16-Jun-05 17:13:30

swifts aren't tiny though, np, they're about 8 - 10" iirc.

perish the thought. it says bats are out at this time of year collecting insects for the babies. i have a million insects flying around my garden

i think the tea is burnt...

Sounds like bats.

If you have good hearing, you might hear a really high-pitched BEEEEP type noise which feels really ODD to listen to.

nailpolish Thu 16-Jun-05 17:35:48

would bats be in the attic of the house? or birds nesting? could i tell?

ninah Thu 16-Jun-05 17:36:16

I hope you mean their babies
Go and rescue tea!
