I have always considered myself working class as I work for a living..I've been to university, got a degree and have a professional qualification but recently at work I heard a couple of colleagues speak of themselves as middle class...doesn't really matter I suppose, just interested in opinions!!

I think we've done this before and it seems to come down to what bread you eat, or something...

I watched a very funny interview that John Prescott carried out with a young one who was on income support who said that she was middle class, not working class 'cos she didn't work!!

custardo is your one made of silver?

You cant be upper class with plastic cutlery, no matter how ingenious it is

Custy - pmsl.

I'm working class me. I want an electric chip fryer too. Although I want it to cook hand cut refried chips of course.

That's serious.

A de Longhi would be a better class of one Monty....it has a French name ergo it must be posh!

But if you only make white bread in it and add smarties (blue ones) to it it might ground you a bit

Dont you have to name your DCs rediculus beautiful names like Chardonay to be middle class

Report
geminigirl · 04/10/2009 00:55

I'd say to be truly middle class you would use Pinot Noir or Sancerre or little Chablis.

Working class is 3bottlesofblossomhillforatenner.
