Mine was a letter from the Workers' Compensation Board, copied to me as the health care provider, regarding a patient Idon'tactuallyhave, who had apparently cut his finger athome .
At first I thought they were surely taking the piss, but WCB is a particularly humourless organization, which scotched that idea. I rang them to ask, and yes, it was a real file... but no, it wasn't my name listed as health care provider (so why did I get a copy??) and when I asked how someone could hope to file a work-injury-related claim when he'd cut his finger athome, the person I was speaking with sighed and said, "oh hon, if you only knew the claims we get!!" which made me laugh and then she was laughing so that was good .
