I just google M&S iced sponge cake and there were reviews on it so YES!! grin

M&S only do fruit cakes instore; you have to order the sponge and it takes 5 days but it is nice

Now, what's it for?

Costco do nice ones if you know anyone with a card, and they only need (I think) 24 hours notice.

they are HUGE and only £9.99

Whereabouts are you MMJ? I'm in Cumbria and will bake you a cake if you like.

I really want a slice of birthday cake now. AIBU to go to Marks' and buy a birthday cake and eat it on my own in the car?

GossipMonger Tue 25-Aug-09 13:30:54

Go to ASDA and get the photo cake without the photo!

MamaG Tue 25-Aug-09 16:18:06

Have you had any luck MMJ? The photo cake without a photo is a good idea - OR even a photo cake with their wedding photo on it! You could put nice ribbon around etc
