after weeks of planning on moving to a new gorgeous property today have just been told that we can't move in it now

Dps father was going to buy this house and let us rent it... I quit smoking which some of you know 40-50 a day so we could afford it just to be told today that its no longer possible as dps dad hasn't been able to get the morgage am just sooo gutted and have no one else to talk to as mum is away for the wk and DP is working

no need for replys just wanted to get it out

feel so guilty for DD's as we have got them really excited about having a nice garden for them to playin hmphhhhhhh sigh

Oh, no! I'm sorry to hear this, TA - is there any chance there'll be another house soon?

Congratulations on stopping smoking - fantastic!

HM thanks for ur reply

possibly in the future, am on the list with our local HA, but the house myself and dd's are in belongs to my exh and until a court kicks us out which is quite unlikely as DD's are Exh's we have to stay here and won't be housed by HA, because if I just left I would be making myself homeless on purpose IYSWIM.

I don't mind this house to much, but DP won't move in while its still being payed for by EXH and EXH won't let me take over his payments..

I was just so excited of the prospect that me and dp could finally make a happy home for all four of us in this new house oh well

I'm so sorry . We were hoping to move to a lovely house with a garden (currently in flat with communal garden and grumpy neighbours). The kids were so excited about having their own garden and more space and it all fell through so suddenly. I cried for hours.

Good things await us TwoAngels, I'm sure of it! I'm over it now, but I'll never forget how disappointed the children were and still are. It's harder for them as the weather is improving and they don't go out in the communal garden often cos of the complaints. Also we are about to have scaffolding erected for the whole summer! Still, I'm sure the right place will come (though maybe not until after the big lottery win ... sigh...)

I'm going to have to get myself into ur optamistic (sp??)frame of mind ML

that is exactly why i'm so gutted too ML because of the garden. I had plans to get them a swing and a slide and a wee paddling pool ooooh it's just to horrible to think about but like u said I'm sure we will both be given a break someday

CC re: morgages I think dps dad has had trouble due to him being self employed and the fact its a second home... his FA said there was only one company who would even attempt to look at the situation
