I can cry with you if you want, I have had a very bad day too. Don't know the story with your new neighbours but hope a lightening will strike both your new neighbours and the stupid kitchen salesman that was so damn racist to me...

I have posted a thread under multicultural families about it.

IS there any posibility of converting the living room into a bedroom(that can be reconverted at a later time to living area and then build a new big living room as an extension?

We have a similar dilemma, need a fouth bedroom but we have a very tiny garden and as people need four bedrooms are most of the times in need of a big garden, we are here wondering whether we should build the extension for ourselves or for the possible prospective buyers when we decide to leave the house...

(Hope I have got the idea righ and I'm just talking nonsense...)

chandra will read your other thread, sorry didnt post anymore last night dh kicked me off computer!, my step dad who is a civil engineer suggested the same thing last night, trouble is dont know if we will have enough money to do it, we have a 67 k mortgage to pay off, plus redemption fees as wea re leaving that particular company, need to get into with chelt and gloucs and see if they will give us the same mortgagewe asked for to extend rather than buy another house, we have a dining room on back of the housewhich dsd has suggested we simply extend to turn into a long living room and aswe rarely use our dining room we could have a neat little dining set in one corner, then turn our front room into a bedroom, its something i had never even thought of!
