Hi all, sorry to be pathetic but I am having a bad morning and need a pat on the shoulder to get me moving today:

Found out on Monday that dads cancer has returned and he will need more major surgery only this time the cancer is cutting of the blood supply of a major artery so it is a really scary surgery.

Mum is a complete wreck

Grandad is having issues with his back

House is being redecorated and is an absolute tip which has been going on over a week now.

Kids are on holiday andd I cant keep thinking about what to do to entertain them

Dogs need lots of walks which I cant fit in because of everything else thats going on

Cant sleep because for some reason the second I go to bed my mind is on overdrive and I just cant sleep.

Need I go on..........I am losing the plot slowly here.

Poor you. That's crap. I have nothing helpful to say but I'm sure someone else will shortly. In the mean time

PAT PAT PAT (manly pat on the shoulder)

p.s. where are you, I'll come and walk your dog if you are anywhere near (I'm in London so suspect not, but you never know)

How awful for you. No helpful advice apart from:

  1. If your children are old enough, get them to walk the dogs. If not, take them (and the dogs) to the park and you've killed two birds with one stone.

  1. Hide from your house unless you actually need to do 'something' in which case, use your energy and ask a friend if they can have your children.

  1. Try taking herbal destress pills. They don't help you sleep but they have helped me stop thinking so I can sleep IYSWIM.

  1. Take each problem (family wise) individually.

Good luck and I hope/pray your Dad get his successful surgery quickly.
