Sorry, don't know of any agencies in Lincs (Or wales!) but do know of some good ones in London.

DS is signed up wth one and DSD2 is with another. Both are getting lots of work.

But, 90%+ jobs are in / around London.

How old is your DC?

Try:

MOT (don't take kids under around 18 months
Bruce and Brown
Scallywags
Rascals

Steer clear of Models Direct

have a look on alba website

Urban angels have a northern office but books cloes till autumn

Bizzykids take from all over country and are respected agency

Bizzykids also accept a huge number of kids and so internal competition is really bad. Urban Angels south and Kids London are also two london agencies with low start-up costs (along with bruce and brown). Norrie Carr isn't too bad cost-wise for babies too.

Alot of the London ones insist you are in and around London. I know of someone u0p north with Junior Model Management who gets a lot of (london based) work for her baby.

Hi I live in london and am intrested in baby modelling. My dd is 2.

I live just near kids london so am thinking of taking pics there. When you say low start up fees, what are they likly to be?

I have been told in the past if a modelling agancy asks for money in advance that is a con.

I'm very new to this and have no idea what I should and shouldn't be asking.

Kids London is one of the best agencies there is. You're lucky to live so close. Definitely give it a go.

Really, sounds good. I'm not sure if i should take the pictures in myself as I live so close. But on the website it says send them in.

crazylovelifelady_Re: start up costs being a con, nearly all agencies ask for money in advance, some more than others. You just need to know who's reputable and likely to get you work.
Other top London agencies are Urban Angels and Bruce and Brown. There are several others like Kitsch Kids, Alphabet Kidz and more.

..and finally, never go with modelsdirect.

Tanks thats good to know.

So will the agencys only take the child on their books if there is a good chance to get them work?

I dont want to pay out lots of money if there is not much chance.

Also how much money do the children earn for the jobs. I'm sure it can vary alot but just hoping to get an idea really.

There was a TV doc. about or featuring Models Direct. You'll find more info on why not to go with tem on Netmums. I don't want to do a lonk to netmums here, but there is a large child modelling thread on there with lots of mums and advice.
If your child is accepted by Kids Lindon, I'd imagine that's because they seriously think your child has a commercial look and could therefore get jobs. You've got nothing to lose by taking photos in.
Earnings vary according to type of job. For catalogue I think it may be between £30 and £50 an hour. The agency will take a cut of maybe 20/25%. If a child is in a tv advert, they may get a few thousand! You'll be asked to open a bank account in the child's name. Very few people make a lot of money from child modelling. A lot of mums do it for the fun of it.
