Question for copy-writers/proofreaders: should I say...

or

"Welcome to the official website OF ...(society X)"

? help would be appreciated!

I would say "of" but not sure why

website for sounds like it's a fanzine or something.

I would always say Welcome to the official society x website

for brevity and search engine reasons.

I'd go for "of" because it is the official site and belongs to the society.
