Hurrah! You managed to get on here!
I am feeling a little better due to my first large wine, which is helping numb everything a bit.
How about you?

I just nearly fell asleep upstairs in DS2's bed - am achey and exhausted - think i have been overdoing things the last few days!
Re - my head - am just trying to block everything that i am thinking out!
My mum saying irritating things to wind me up earlier didnt help. I think she know i am feeling down about some things and that all is not rosey with DH - but SHE pretends it isnt happening!

Oh bless you Tess.
I cannot believe the simularities in our life styles ATM!
It kind of helps to know we are not alone, but it does bring it all to the surface in your head doesn't it?
I have been thinking a lot about how shit things are in general today, how about you?

Yes - definately agree!!!! Everything is at the forefront of my mind!
Every little thing that DH did (or didnt do) said (or didnt say) made me think how hopeless everything was
I asked him for a tenner for DS1's tennis lesson at least twice and he STILL forgot!! Anything i say is just SOOO not important to him

Thing is, I think they think they can treat us (& their kids) how they like, because they feel pretty secure that we won't leave.

I am alright 4 the night, as he is on nights.
He really punished ds again today.
I couldn't hide it from him, because he could see I was upset after school & knows what that means.
He mentioned the naughty boys school again.

It is like - do you remember when i was with that bloke i was engaged to (J). He soooo worshiped the ground i walked on that i felt i could get away with anything (and DID in the end!!!!!)
Is this some kind of cruel Karma?????

It is SOOOO true isn't it???
Well I may soon make him realise that he cannot behave this way, because I have had enough!!!

Why dont you try and talk to your DH about some kind of REWARD system. i.e - if you are a good boy at school today and join in with the activities you can choose *** toy tommorow????" Or at the end of the week / whatever

Tessiebear · 19/05/2005 20:50

That is what i was thinking today - but how do you find the nerve to say "I cannot take anymore" and where do you go from there if they start ranting and raving and tell US to go!

We started that a while back, but it has all gone to pot recently.
Because I am not coping with myself right now, I am finding it hard to cope as a parent properly IYKWIM?

All I am going to say to that, is have you read stressedmummy's thread???

Will your DH go with you to the SENCO thing - prehaps he needs to - to realise that it is not your DS1's FAULT that he is behaving like this - at least i dont beleive it is- and that only TIME and possibly ignoring it will help more than punishment / reward??

OP posts:
Report
blueteddy · 19/05/2005 20:58

I don't think it is ds's fault either really
He is coming along to the SENCO thing as they want to see us both.
I KNOW I will be a complete & utter wreck throughout!
