Sorry to be boring but my DH asked me to post this as they are driving him crazy. No, not in his pants.... they are all over my kitchen and we have tried everything from DIY shops etc. Anyone got any ideas of stuff, maybe from internet that we could use!

We had them. Kitchen and living room infested. Sealed the skirting board/floor edges and put powder and spray down but still the odd one or two get through. Horrid things

Nippon gel is good but you must put it down where their nests are, and as soon as you even see one little b*er approaching. Once they are in it's much harder.

To deal with them once they are inside the kitchen, use kitchen spray cleaner with bleach.

try a kettle of boiling water poured into the nest - assuming you can find it

We have just used an 'Ant Stop: Bait Station' on ants which had nested just inside some French windows. There were a lot of them and some had started to find their way into our kitchen, in the next room. We put it down on Sunday and they had all gone by Tuesday. The bait station works by luring some ants in, who then take the poison back to the nest.
