I cut the leg off to stop the whinging.

She then died of sepsis.

It was a sorrowful hour.

Do we need a day of mourning?

a minute's silence should do it I think.

(DS2 is going in for teeth to come out today, so she prob won't be on until much later... and she went to Brighton for the weekend)

Aah she spent her last hours in true empathy with HMM. What a way to go.

Right, what's happening with Wimbledon today.

GhostOfPsychmum5, can you hear me?
Do you want your leg back? I am sure it hasn't been incinerated or anything.....

TheFool · 23/06/2009 18:43

Oh no, you always have to burn body parts or else they come back and bloody haunt you (forgot to burn the rest of the body... but burnt the leg)

Oh JB don't feel bad we make fun of it all the time, you will see this in my posts.

Mum lost her leg in January following complications with diabetes, DH1s facebook status said he had found a buyer for her slippers on ebay for 3 days we make really sick jokes about it all the time, it is how we cope.

TheFool · 23/06/2009 20:46

I was going with if Kimi was making jokes then it was ok

Only the one here I'm afraid (DH makes them, it was his one he made when he was training).

Arms... we have a mannequin arm around somewhere.

DH1 walked in to see mum the day before the op and said "sorry I am late I have been to the pet shop to get you a parrot, I have been making you a CD with walk this way ,these boots were made for walking, running up that hill, walk of life and some run DMC, can I have your leg as an umbrella stand, your buggered for the can can but still good for most of the hokey cokey.... it was and still is endless, we are so not PC about it

{grin], I did say I only felt slightly bad....

DH's dad has had 3 hip replacements (first one wore out DH doesn't even want to think about that) and he had childhood polio, so we call him Weeble.
