it's time for a big sort out (2 birthdays in May) - anyone got any good storage ideas for all those things with bits? We've got several kinds of constructions kits, jigsaws whose original cardboard box is falling apart etc etc. What do you do with it all? We've got a big toy box and several big baskets that go under the bed but wondered if anyone had come acros really good ideas for keeping each set of bits and pieces in the right place?

Argos and lots of other places like Wilkinsons sell plastic chest of drawers in various colours. Ideal for keeping the cars in one, the trains in the other and the planes in the other. Same for Barbie stuff, works a treat keeping your Barbies separate from your accessories (very important when you are six)!!

Whatever type of box you buy, make sure it has a lid. Unless you are a manic cleaner they will get dusty and if they have lids the toys inside will stay clean.
