peugeot 205 style warning lights.....HELP

Does anybody know what the warning light underneather the petrol meter is?
Its bright red,and looks a bit like a main beam light but downwoods not side ways....sorry real hard to explain,if you dont know pls ask anyone you think might...t.i.a xx

My 205 hasn't got this but it is very old! I've looked in the manual though which shows all the models and the only thing that looks likely is the water coolant level.HTH.
