Anyone know of any in an area that normal people can afford (ie not Knightsbridge, S Ken etc!) For a colleague.
i know there's a french playgroup in Blackheath but can't remember the name. sorry
What age are the kids? I think Greenwich is going to get a Lycee or whatever it's called, including young kids. But the parents need to be French, ideally both of them.
I think there was also one in Stockwell - at least a year or 2 ago there was...
yes one parent is French. She is nearly 1
ealing has a french playgroups and a french school too. Ive met many people with one french parent who moved there for this reason
It depends on the waiting lists etc, as the Lycee is always oversubscribed. At any rate, I don't think it's for 1-year-olds, I think it's for three year olds or something.
They'd probably have better luck hiring a French nanny, if they want a French daytime environment for their kid. Otherwise, Froggy Valley is probably their only hope.
Acutally it may have more than one, theres one called Arche 07752 531915, its says to contact Katie.
Heres an article on schools
Froggy Valley, yes. South Ken? Where all the French people live, where the Academy Francaise is, etc etc.
theres a french toddler group held in ealing and chiswick called Frech 4 tots, 020 87282725
