Don't put your duvet in the washing machine, it will break it.

Well, I didn't ask but I really wish I had.

so many over the years..the 2for1 london tickets website address for a start..but it's the combined wisdom of mumsnetters that really counts, an inner voice giving me advice on all sorts of things.

It's not the advice I usually come here for, it's the way that people I have never met can make me laugh out loud when I am feeling like life is pretty lousy.

And pasta jars.

That a weaning baby can survive without milk in the day time.

and the easiest and tidiest way to dispense calpol is to put it in the milk

I posted on here as i was so down as my MIl had refused to help me in the half term and my Mum wouldnt help either (wass having a bad time , dd is severely disabled) anyway it was a long and self pitying post and Davros told me to get over it basically and come to terms with not having any help off them now and it would help me accept that in the future I had to count on myself or pay other people or get other people involved through volountary organisations. It just made me pick myself up and I do always think of it. i still feel self pitying but I accept that I shouldnt feel bitter towards everyone else for not helping
