Don't know, but I'd refuse and kick up merry hell. Who is doing it for you?

You have to come over all Margot Leadbetter about this sort of thing, and explain in a patient but VERY FIRM voice over the 'phone that this will not do, and they must deliver on the morning that fitting will commence.

Tell them that it would constitute a danger to your children.

i have just had a new kitchen put in, and they delivered on the friday and the builder started on the tuesday, we had the kitchen in the garage while the work was being done. im i right in thinking that its being delivered 3 days beofre the work starts? they do deliver a few days in advance so you can make sure all the bits are there.

it is MFI that are doing it and we have already had lets says issues with them

they have to deliver in advance so that you get all the bits. try asking them to change the delivery date to the 5th.

I wouldn't stand for it, esp. if they have already given you problems.

And anyway, they shouldn't have to deliver early so YOU can check that you have all the bits, they should be able to ensure they deliver all the bits. This is typical bloody british service, let's put the customer to as much inconvenience as possible, as long as it makes life easier for us retailers (got me started now !!!)

thats what i thought tbh. Thats a good one and probably true about it being a danger to the kids although lucky they haven't met my kids yet or they may have refused to fit it at all
