That's horrible. Makes me shudder. Poor lad. I hope his nose heals v soon. Is he pressing an ice pack on it?

ScummyMummy Wed 27-Apr-05 00:21:39

Not surprised he's shocked. Horrible thing to happen. Your poor baby.

Does the person who did this go to his school, does he think?

BadgerBadger Wed 27-Apr-05 00:24:13

Poor lad, that's awful!

Hope he's feeling better soon. I can't believe the police are so shoddy at attending for things like this.

no he doesn't go to his school he wasn't wearing a school uniform either and he thinks he was about 17. i came home to find my backgarden covered in teenagers and told my ds to come in as he was grounded and told his friends to sod off! it wasn't until he got in he said " mum i've been beaten up." i toldhim tosay sorry to his friends from me because they were good for staying with him until i got home - he could have passed out or anything - i feel really guilty !! he'll have a couple of nice shiners tomorrow for school!

Tortington Wed 27-Apr-05 00:46:14

no i didn't put an ice pack on it as he wasn't complaining and i forgot in all the palava

ScummyMummy Wed 27-Apr-05 00:50:30

Don't feel guilty hon- how were you to know that disaster had struck? Hope he feels ok in the morning. Glad the nasty tosser who did this isn't at his school at least. xxx

Poor boy Custy. The police response is inadequate, I agree.

happymerryberries Wed 27-Apr-05 07:18:45

God, custy that is awful. Hope that he feels better today. Does anyone know who did it?

tigermoth Wed 27-Apr-05 07:23:11

your porr son! I have heard horrible tales about dodgy people who lurk around school gates at secondary school. A colleague with a son at secondary school explained to me the type of things that happen round here - drug dealing, violence, lending money then demanding it back, all sorts of intimidation and bullying. She said it goes on at all local schools here - don't know about your area.

I am so sorry your son innocently got caught up in something.

katierocket Wed 27-Apr-05 07:34:22

that is horribly custy, your poor DS. Are the police not doing anything then?

lou33 Wed 27-Apr-05 08:57:20

I'm sorry to hear this custy, I hope something does get done, and your ds recovers soon

Twiglett Wed 27-Apr-05 08:59:38

OMG, how is he today? what did the police say?

Fio2 Wed 27-Apr-05 09:00:09

crikes custy, i hope he is better soon and the damn police come out! they are a bloody pain the police, you are right

Potty1 Wed 27-Apr-05 09:02:26

Custy - your poor son, hope he's OK. Get back on to the police and threaten them with the papers if they don't pitch up soon. It's a bloody disgrace (though typical around here too )

B**tards!

The police response, or lack of response, is just not on! What the hell will they trundle out of their cosy police stations for these days????

batters Wed 27-Apr-05 09:24:28

Custy, really sorry to read this.

I hope that your son recovers quickly and that the police do take some action.

Poor ds. at whichever lowlife did this.

JanH Wed 27-Apr-05 09:41:00

Oh, god, custy, you poor things - just thinking about it makes me feel ill. The police must do something about it - there must have been loads of witnesses, didn't anybody know who it was?

Hope his nose isn't broken and that his face doesn't hurt for too long.
