Just booked the tickets!!!!!!!!!! Taking DD2 (3) to see the Gruffalo tomorrow afternoon. She is really excited. She has the story read to her at playschool loads as it is one of the kids favourite stories.

I can't wait either!!

Mum2girls - it's touring around where are you?

We are going to the Lighthouse in Poole

Mum2girls Tue 26-Apr-05 11:42:45

Sparkler - Midlands.

SPARKLER1 Tue 26-Apr-05 11:43:46

Which is your nearest theatre? Sorry I'm not very good at finding places.

NomDePlume Tue 26-Apr-05 11:44:24

I;m in the Midlands (south), Cheltenham is the best date for us.

Mum2girls Tue 26-Apr-05 11:44:53

no probs sparkler! Just had a look at the run list - all a tad too far away (i.e. over an hours drive). Ah well, maybe they'll do another tour.

NomDePlume Tue 26-Apr-05 11:51:49

Cheltenham is only 25 mins from me, mum2girls. I guess you must be further north then ?

Clayhead Tue 26-Apr-05 11:53:07

I'm going next month, hope it's good!!

NomDePlume Tue 26-Apr-05 11:56:14

Hvae just asked DH via text of he can book a day off so we can go and see it with DD at the end of May

SPARKLER1 Tue 26-Apr-05 18:22:58

We've been. It was fantastic. DD loved it. She was clapping and joining in with the audience participation of shouting and reciting the storylines. Aw and she's only three!!
She looked a little uncertain when the Gruffalo came out but soon had a smile back on her face again shortly after.

My 2 boys loved it (4 and 2+3/4yrs at the time) even dd who was about 8weeks old sat glued to the performance. I loved the snake, he really made me giggle!!

SPARKLER1 Wed 27-Apr-05 13:23:42

NDP - Hope you like it!

NomDePlume Wed 27-Apr-05 13:24:22

She adores both books so I can't see it not being a hit
