i think ive offended 2 of my male friends new girlfriends. they are both nice girls, but by the next morning i had a feeling i had been a bit ott and mouthy (nothing new there then)

my best mate and dh both agreed i had gone a bit too far but they cant remember much either cos they were both pissed too

they are saying things like 'oh it wasnt too bad' 'dont worry' but i know for a fact that both these girls were mostly sober so they will remember and i keep getting flashbacks

Act as if absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happened. You were drunk, you couldn't help it

Avoiding someone as i have a rather large mouth and have caused trouble. The best way to get out of trouble is find a reason why you could be angry with them and turn it round.

oh just make something up, anything that makes you look better. Say they were whispering threats in your ear, just get the focus off you

Nobody is perfect, they probably have hairy arm pits

well, they did get together and gossip about me being such a drunken piss-head.

they were 'shocked' cos it was only 5pm

don't do or say anything unless they approach you.

Forget it!!! Noone ever worries about what someone says when they're pissed. They were probably jealous of your carefree bohemian ways.
You wild thang you!!!!

Yes, however much you feel like going 'aaaargh!!!' on the inside.
I always admire people who never feel remotely mortified by drunken antics, not being one of them myself!!! Too anal I suppose!!

we were all sitting around in the garden (about 10 of us) and we got on the subject of religion. we have all known each other for yonks and so speak our mind - well i did a bit too much (im too opinionated) and then i remember seeing one of the girls all fuming cos she is a 100% church every sunday person

i tried backpeddling but the damage was done

loads of other stuff

about children and dummies etc and the next day one of the girls appeared with her baby with a dummy oh shit its all coming back to me now

me and another friend were having a laugh about something about weddings and it came out these were one girls plans

Don't fret girl!!!
Who says we all have to agree with everyone else? We don't here and we all get on fine don't we??!

Again I'm sure they admired your independent thinking!

ROFL np. Sorry, but it is pretty funny. I'd just avoid the girls and let the dust settle and secretly hope that the 'new' relationships crash and burn asap to save your blushes

Post alcohol paranoia: it's a dreadful thing, isn't it?

Rise above it Nailpolish - or alternatively - have another drink
