Unusual wedding gift?

Looking for a truly unusual wedding gift - looking to spend around £30. Anyone inspired???

What about something from here - a friend "bought" me a bicycle for a midwife in Ethiopia for Christmas and I loved the thought of it... although it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Do they have children? One of the best presents we got was vouchers for 5 cinema trips and babysitting sevices provided!

We do ambrosia's idea but with a mega quick turnaround, dh usually nips off late on in te day, gets the photos developed and puts them into a waiting album. Was the best present I got when we got married so have done it for everybody since. It's ages til you get the official photos so it's lovely to have something to keep you going!

I bought my friend "Chronology" (which is my favourite "board" game and not you see often in the shops anymore).

I bought it because, with the benefit of hindsight, it's the kind of thing I'd like to have received. It's not all that "gifty" but we would still be playing with it seven years later and that's the appeal.

I spent exactly £30 on a pair of decorative wrought iron shelf brackets as a wedding present. Seemed rather apt metaphor for marriage! They were lovely too.

Love the midwife's bike idea - not sure the happy couple are quite that right on though! A board game may be the answer I think - thanks you lot!
