I hope somebody can help. We have made the decision to not give MMR but to do seperate vaccinations due to bowel problems that seem to run in both families. I would like to space out the single vaccines (am in UK at mo) but may have moved back to NZ before they are all done (depends on a variety of things.) I have been informed (not sure how accurate this is though) that even if dd has had measles but not rubella and mumps I would then have to give MMR only in NZ as no other option which would mean double dose of measles and defeat the whole object of not giving it now. (dd 12mths).
The other thing is if I have more children (which I hope to) they will be having their vaccination schedule in NZ and what options do I have from the word go?
Is it possible to have individual vaccines in Australia as we would be willing to fly to Aus from NZ to do this.
I hope somebody has some information that can help.
