Might bet on the woman jockey just to be controversial(sp), her odds have gone up, and she wants to be first woman to ever win it!

A horse I backed once before is in it, bindaree (sp) I cant remember if it won or not, so not much of a tip.

We've just placed our bets with William Hill. National is the only time we bet all year, but do it every year, without fail.

Bindaree came in 3rd last year.

I don't usually bet on the Grand National. I don't like it very much - seeing all those poor horses going down and quite often dying makes me feel really sad. Sorry if I sound miserable but that's how it makes me feel.

I just chose 4 horses based purely on their odds and whether or not I likes their names and/or colours. Went for a bit of a spread - one at 100/1 one at 50/1 one at 16/1 and one at 10/1 (which is the nearest you'll get to a favourite)

I just choose a name I like, Bindaree remindedme of something, could have been similar to an indian word for aubergine, well thats my story and im sticking to it.

I think Bindaree has been placed a few times. Nice name! (Rolf Harris's daughter is called Bindi I believe, I bet he backed it.)

Bindaree's form:

The 2002 winner who also ran on strongly to finish 6th in 2003. Was in the rear and appeared to be outpaced when falling at Bechers Brook on the first circuit last year. He really needs it soft to stay in contention. Has shown he isn?t past it as was only beaten five lengths when 5th in this years Welsh National. If you had to pick a horse to complete the course it would be Bindaree but he is likely to finish down the field

I've had the winner 4 years in a row.... and last year DH and I bet on 3 of the first 4!! Only came away with a £16 profit though!!

Must point out that all those times have been total flukes!!!

i have amberleigh house on an free bet, so needs to win so i get £185 quid apparently. dh has done all the bets for us.
