I had taken my hat off to you.I had always read your nickname as "mummytoseven" and marvelled at how someone with so many children and such a busy life could consistently produce such astute and calm posts.

The time has definately come for me to get my eyes tested and buy some snazzy glasses

She's really got 16 children and her secret to being so calm is she keeps them all locked in a shed and throws leftovers in every once in a while.

They have a raffle every week to see who wins the gruel. Funnily enough MTS always seems to win, thus giving her the energy to post. You should see the kids not a spare ounce on them.

8 pull the sled while the other 8 are her personal slaves fetching and carrying for her - which is why the weekly shop is so easy for her. All she has to bear is the terrible weight of her purse, bogged down with all that child benefit.

LGJ - I know, they disappear as soon as they turn sideways. As soon as they're old enough to leave home she's going to have them jetting off as supermodels.

Disgraceful isn't it? And to cover her tracks she named them all Steven - even the girls.

Yep, and when they grow up she'll admit they're called Stephanie and try and pretend it was a loving nickname thing.

I've read it as mummy to 7 oodles of times too, and even since reading it right, in my head it is still seven!!!

It's so much easier on the voice when you just shout "Steven!" and 16 children all know that it's time for their next shift sweeping out chimneys.

What do you mean shout???? She might wear herself out, she has a gong and a half naked man to bang it every time its time for work!!

sigh. maybe I should change DS name by deedpoll to Stephen, or Moon Unit or Flowery Field or something less confusing...

Is that the man who just wears the leopard-print loincloth or did she sack him for insubordination?

Report
flamesparrow · 07/04/2005 09:51

God, could you imagine shouting "Dinner's ready Flowery Field" up the stairs????

Report
coppertop · 07/04/2005 09:52

MTS! What about being honest and calling yourself MummyTo16?

Report
wobblyknicks · 07/04/2005 09:55

Yep, its the man in the loincloth - she'd never sack him, she just whips him a bit when he gets out of line, or whenever she feels like for that matter

Might the solution be to have your name as mummytosTeven?
