DH (who has it for his business) says there are loads of on line companies - just Google. It's not anything too complicated

Argh - can't help with the school thing I'm afraid. Surely it must be a fairly standard thing to want though ? Could the local council, any local Business Link scheme or CAB offer any advice ?

I use Fish Insurance in Hampton Wick (har har) for people working at home.

My organisation has public liability insurance and we often host other organisations doing their own thing. Our insurers told us that as long as the activity was within the usual business of our organisation, and invited in and sanctioned by our organisation, our insurance would cover the public attending.

Has she asked the school if they could check with their insurers (probably via the LEA) whether she might actually be covered by their policy? or whether it could be extended to cover her activity for a small additional cost?

It is getting more and more expensive unfortunately. We have just had to change companies as the quote from our previous company was too high.

Also some insurance companies are refusing to cover you for child protection issues.

the only thing she can do is to keep searching and try and badger the price down.
