My new room is not going well.

The tiler's cutter broke yesterday, so instead of grouting tomorrow - he is going to finish the tiling and grout on Tuesday.

I still have the skirting to paint and fit - I can paint DH will cut & fit
The back door step - to be done next Saturday & Sunday by my dad & DH
Put all the kitchen cupboards up (well I'll make them & DH will put them up)
All the furniture has to be assembled and filled with toys (carefully so the children don't notice)
I have 4 stairgates to fit & some fairly major gardening to do...

And all before OFSTED turn up (if I can persuade them to actually come)

I am supposed to open next Tuesday with a Launch Party next Friday (15th)

How will it all be done I'm minding
8-6 Mon
9-2 Tues
8-6 Wed
10-2 Thurs
8-6 Fri

I'll never do it

what did you do about the ramping in the end?

Katiemac

Just do your best and stick balloons and banners over the bits that aren't finished on time for the party - no-one will ever know!
Good luck with everything!

Have you invited someone from your local LEA pre school division to your party?

Lou33 - I got a lovely (&expensive) wooden decking type ramp...it's almost a verandha

I think it might be OK...I'm nearly finished....just the back step and a few cupboards to put up (& they aren't arriving til Sunday)

Jampots - I've invited the early years team from our council - is that the same?
