My shopping should have arrived between 10am and 12 and IT's NOT HERE!! What is going on? How long should I leave it before ringing?

Really cross as I wanted to prepare tonight's dinner this morning and now it won't come in time as I've got to pick the kids up from nursery at 1pm. Bugger.

I would ring now.

Think they shoulod all adopt sainsburys 1 second late and you get a tenner thingy.

Ring them now, if they were going to be late they should have called you to let them know so that you could decide whether to accept the delivery.

Just a thought - you did confirm the order, didn't you? Because once, when I got cross that the order hadn't arrived, it was because dh hadn't confirmed the order properly.

I'd call now especially if you have to leave soon to pick up the kids.

I'd rant a bit and you might get at least your delivery fees back.

I complained once because a loaf of bread had gone mouldy the next day and I got my money for the bread refunded

Oooh yes - always rant lots. The best thing is when you get a mixed up order, you get stuff not on your list, and you don't get some of your own stuff - they tell you to keep the extras, and refund you the missings

Got it - 25 mins late so I can't do dinner now till I get back with 3 kids round my feet and all in a rush before we go out at 3. Grr!

Last week I got a pack of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes I didn't order but I just kept them and dh took them to work for his brekky!

So far so good on delivering what I ordered though - thanks everyone for 'ranting' encouragement! Would have done too!

Still rant - go and tell em all about cooking dinner. You need your delivery cost refunded and a grovelling letter at the very least

I would ring the store direct and ask to speak to the Home Shopping Manager. Whenever I have spoken to the Customer Service Department the result has been crap. When I cut out the middle man and go direct to the guy at the shop I get ooodles of extra vouchers and cash back.

Last week my delivery had raw meat and cooked meat in the same carrier bag. Nothing leaked so it was okay but I still complained. Told to keep the lot but had the cost refunded. £15 of free meat
