jampots Thu 03-Mar-05 10:31:48

biglips Thu 03-Mar-05 10:34:11

just wants to know what is should be like by now as my scar is still red but not that red when i first had op and still tender and bit numb - im just curious

jampots Thu 03-Mar-05 10:36:12

ahhh - red as in red and angry or dark pink?

I think it'll always be a bit numb (and your tummy above it), mine looks like its been crayoned on now and it is 12 and 8.5 years old!

mummytosteven Thu 03-Mar-05 10:37:57

my friend had a C-Section nearly 1 year ago and still has some numb bits

if you're really curious am sure cld arrange for you to meet her and ask her/maybe even see her scar..she lives south l'pool

biglips Thu 03-Mar-05 10:42:52

jampots Thu 03-Mar-05 10:43:58

biglips Thu 03-Mar-05 10:47:15

desperatehousewife Thu 03-Mar-05 11:07:48

Fastasleep Thu 03-Mar-05 11:09:02

LOL MTS that idea cracked me up...no idea why..

biglips Thu 03-Mar-05 11:11:21

same here Fastasleep but thanks to MTS as you was just thinking of me

jabberwocky Thu 03-Mar-05 11:22:47

Mine was tender and numb for a very long time also. I honestly can't remember when it stopped feeling that way but now at 18 months later it's fine.

Fastasleep Thu 03-Mar-05 11:30:32

Now biglips if you're brave I have a link for you! scroll to the bottom of this one, quickly! this one's less yucky! hope they help lol

biglips Thu 03-Mar-05 11:56:11

<fainted> thud!

Fastasleep Thu 03-Mar-05 11:58:04

Lol I'm sorry I know the first was yucky but the pics at the bottom were really good....'good' lol

jampots Thu 03-Mar-05 12:04:03

frigging hell - i think there's something wrong with mine now !

(a) my belly/overhang is much bigger
(b) scar is much wider
(c) looks most like 7 weeks post op after 8.5 years - aarghhh

Fastasleep Thu 03-Mar-05 12:07:52

But Jampots surely they try to show nice ones so that mums who are having C-Sections don't get sh!t scared!

suzywong Thu 03-Mar-05 12:12:44

my word there are some unruly muffs out there

I'm feeling pretty smug about my double scar, I can't really see it

can still see the jelly belly though

jampots Thu 03-Mar-05 12:13:34

PMSL Suzy - I thought that. Bet none of those mummies have heart shaped muffs now!

Fastasleep Thu 03-Mar-05 12:14:29

I know that second link was like the gallery of unruly muffs wasn't *shudder*! Don't know which is worse the gore or the....hair..

jampots Thu 03-Mar-05 12:15:13

maybe under the fluff they have a truly disgusting scar and need to cover it

Fastasleep Thu 03-Mar-05 12:16:43

Argh! I'd rather have a scar than look like I had a balding afro down there!

julezboo Sun 06-Mar-05 10:14:55
