PMSL!

Reminds me of the tie our cocker spaniel cleared a path round the edge of the full layed buffet table one christmas. All the food disappeared up to the point where his tongue didn't reach.

Must be a chocolate labrador. Snort!!

Our spaniel used to steal food out of the fridge too, bless him.

Awww, you've got to love dogs really! I can only say that because my carrot cake and orange cake are both still in one peiece and we don't have a canine in the house.

Labradors are completely focussed on their stomachs aren't they? When I was a child we had a golden retriever who was trained not to eat anything unless he was told to, even food in his bowl, but I don't think there's a dog trainer in the world who could train a labrador to do that.

LOL the ONE time I EVER baked a cake (chocolate), I left it to cool on the side in the kitchen, thinking it was well out of harms way. Oh no - our lab managed to somehow stretch just far enough to nibble round half the edge with his teeth. Quite decorative actually

We've got a lab who will and does eat anything speciality ds's socks! Very easy to train via the stomach route though if only the children were so easily swayed
