Up to you, but it might help the bidding if they know what they're aiming for.

up to you- were you hoping for more than the reserve? if not theen tell them

kid Tue 15-Feb-05 22:16:58

I personally would. They might offer to pay the reserve price if you end the auction early. If they do, I would just keep the auction going as you might make more than the reserve.

forget them then yg- you could have problems. put a block on him to stop him bidding

roisin Tue 15-Feb-05 22:17:34

If they've only got negative, I wouldn't encourage them.

not sure how to block a bidder. can't you go to help section, they should give you a link from there

I think if you go into bid history you can cancel a bid, but not sure how you can stop them bidding at all. You could add to the auction page saying no bidders with negative feed back... might be a hint for them!

ain't worth the hassle with them. why don't you add a comment to your listing asking people not to bid without contacting you if they have a feedback rating of less than 10

Personally, I'd give them a chance.

SoupDragon Fri 18-Feb-05 21:56:47

How long has the auction got to run and has the reserve been met yet?

If the bidder with -ve feedback doesn't pay up then you can always offer a second chance to the next highest bidder I don't hink you've got anything to lose by letting the bid stand.

Are the +ves old and the -ve a recent feedback?
