Have you ever asked your toddler what it was like in mummy's tummy?

I was telling my friend that I'd asked dd. She said she asked her dd who replied that she'd heard daddy talking and it had made her laugh.

Obviously kids can't really remember, but there's no better time to ask.

Dd is 3.11 and she is talking to me quite a lot recently about when she was in my tummy. she has been asking a lot of questions too. like who was in there first, her or DS. and who else is in there.

I said that DS was in there and he came out first and then DD came out.

DS piped up with "no she wasn't cos i didnt see her when i was in there"

I will have to ask this one tomorrow (don't think he will appreciate me waking him now) - I could ask DS2 right now, he's awake, but at 14wks i might not get a response other than a coo lol

Slightly off topic, but reminded me that my 19 month old DD came up to me the other day, pointed at my tummy, patted it and said, "Ahhh, Baby"

Now, for a start, I don't have a very big tummy, maybe a double muffin or so... secondly, most importantly, She has never, to my knowledge, seen a pg woman and been told, " there's a baby in there" so, i'm wondering where the hell its come from, and does she know something I don't

Sorry, carry on!

My Dd (4) talks about how her and Ds1 (19 mo) and Ds2 (3mo) used to play together in my tummy,

She explains how she used to be in my tummy and ds1&2 used to be so small (holds finger 1mm apart) .

I think it's a lovely idea!
