Anyone else got castings/jobs coming up?

DD3 has photoshoot for M&S website next week - other than that, has quietened down (though agency knows we're on hols soon so that might be part of reason)

Ooh good luck, this will be my ds1 1st ever casting but he is not nervous at all, don't know where he get's all his confidence from!! He know's they'll be other kids there who have more experience etc, but he's not bothered by this at all!! I am nervous as hell though grin !!

How old is he? What's the casting for? My 2 youngest model - DD2 is 5 and DD3 is 7 months. Recently we have had a lot of straight jobs ie no casting, but not sure if that's because she has been doing it so long (and occasional flashes of good fortune eg when a child was sick and we had a call as DD2 looked a bit like her!)

He is 9yrs old and it's a casting for Disney, not sure of exact details yet other than this and that it's at 11am.

My DD had a few straight jobs when she was a baby, not that uncommon and is nice when it happens too!!

Fingers crossed for you! DD2 did some shots for the Disney Store Christmas catalogue - Cinderella dress, so a nice easy job for a 5 year old girl!! No problem persuading her to get changed....

Bet she loved it!! My DD is 5 as well, that must have been the easiest job to take her to!! lol

Which agency are you with Housemum? My DD was with ES as a baby and only just now putting them in an agency.

That's great Melody!!!and very quick as well!!! I wouldn't worry too much. He's a gourgeous young lad and I am sure he'll win them over!!!!
We're still waiting but I am not too bothered, we only came back two weeks ago from our holiday. But I do have high expectation especially because you only hear very good things about UA

DD2 was with Norrie Carr, then changed to Bruce & Brown when she was nearly 4 - DD3 also with Bruce & Brown.

Don't think there is a set "look" just natural with the camera - and sometimes gorgeous kids don't photograph well, so there is no right or wrong look.

Congrats Melody,AK do get lots of work, still not keen on there charges but i have been on several jobs with AK models.
Hiya Housemum, your little one is very busy
Some agents pick a paticular type of child but in general anything goes,if they have big eyes, nice smile and want to do the work then your ok.Agencies can take a while getting back to you.KL are quick,BB are very slow and MOT just been doing there book shoot so they may take a while to get back to you

They are bothe lovely looking, your DD1 has lovely, lovely hair too! Some agencies can take ages to reply and some are very quick so just depends on the agencie's you applied to.

I don't think agencie's are looking for a set look these days as different companies are requiring more and more different looks, it would just depend on whether they have or haven't already got children with a similar look to yours. Also it would depend on whether you were applying to more of a photographic agency or an acting/commercial agency I suppose as to what they would require.

hi all my kids have been accepted by bizzykids, standout in leicester, and rascals

Who would you reccommend the most?

thanksx

For me personally, I would be more inclined to go with Rascals, but that is just my personal opinion and then BK after that.

Hi anyone had any dealings with Chilli Models. They are down south.

totallyfloaty35 · 07/08/2008 22:58

I thought chili models was midlands?
Try BB,KL,MOT and U/A for agencies with little or no costs.
Congrats Ruby
